Spring Home Exercise Series

Vision Sports Ireland are delighted to add additional programmes to our Home Exercise Series.

Weekly classes give you the opportunity to look after your physical and mental health during these difficult times. We are delighted to include Yoga For All, Over 50’s Movement, Balance and Stretch, Zoom Fitness and Nature Mindfulness to the Vision Sports Home Exercise Series.

Sessions will be audio described and tailored for the needs of participants who are blind and vision impaired. No experience is required and classes are suitable for all abilities. This is a wonderful opportunity to improve your physical and mental health through, exercise, meditation and social interaction.

Registered participants will receive an email each week with the link for their class.


    Yoga For All – Mondays 10am – Register
    Over 50’s Movement, Balance and Stretch – Tuesdays 10am – Register
    Zoom Fitness (cardio and Strength) – Wednesdays 6:30pm – Register
    Nature Mindfulness – Thursdays 10am – Register
Yoga For All
A 6 week online yoga and somatic movement programme for adults who are blind and vision impaired. 
Weekly classes beginning
10am Monday March 8th via Zoom. 
Suitable for 18 years +

Yoga and Somatic Movement For All. 

The programme will be delivered by Laura Dowdall who has worked with the NCBI, Vision Sports, and the Anne Sullivan Centre for the Deafblind since 2015 teaching Dance, Yoga and Creative Movement classes.

Following the success of the Vision Sports Ireland online exercise series we are delighted to add a new Over 50’s Movement, Balance and Stretch 6 week programme.

This programme will be delivered by a fully qualified instructor who will lead participants through a joint mobilisation and muscle warm up, followed by cardio, movement to music, strength and balance work.

This programme will help improve your balance and mobility as well as having a positive effect on your physical and mental health.

Suitable for all abilities.

Tuesdays 10am (beginning Tuesday February 23rd)

Zoom Fitness is a high intensity cardio workout including strength exercises.

Nature Mindfulness

Connecting with Nature from the comfort of your home.

This programme will be delivered by Sarah Hourigan of Nature Therapy Ireland . Nature Therapy Ireland was founded in 2019 to share the physical and mental health benefits that can be experienced by exploring your connection to nature.

Programme details:

Thursdays 10am (beginning Thursday March 11th).  

Delivered via Zoom.

Duration: 50 minutes.

Age: 18 years and over.
