Vision Sports Ireland are delighted to announce the launch of our new website. The newly launched website features a modern design which was developed with ease of accessibility in mind and aims to create a place where members can keep up to date with all the latest news, events and programmes.
Accessibility features including colour contrast and manual font size adjustment, will allow users to easily navigate through the website. The new menu structure provides information on the history and strategic vision of the organisation, the various sport and physical activity programmes and, training and education opportunities we offer.
Join us today by using the new ‘Become a Member’ feature, allowing vision impaired and blind people across the country to sign up with Vision Sports free of charge, registering your areas of interest and experiencing all the benefits that sports and physical activity has to offer!
Family members, friends and external stakeholders can also sign up to our newsletter ensuring you are kept up to date with the latest information on any upcoming events or new initiatives.
National Sports Development Manager Pádraig Healy commented on the launch, “We are really excited to launch our fresh new fully accessible website. We encourage our community to log in and browse the site and provide feedback to us on their experience. We are particularly excited about the new membership registration system that will allow anyone with a vision impairment to register with Vision Sports free of charge and choose the sports and activities of interest. This will inform where the appetite for certain activities are and allow us work with our NGB partners to establish programmes and meet the identified need in those areas.’’
Vision Sports Ireland are continuously striving to improve our offerings for our members and the wider public, we invite you to visit our new website at www.visionsports.ie and welcome all feedback via firstname.lastname@example.org.
